About me

My EPQ asked how young people maintain a distinct social identity in a globalised, media-saturated world. It's still the question that sits underneath most of what I write and make.

I'm now studying Digital Media & Culture at King's College London and building Beth Jenkins Media, an independent writing and creative practice. On Substack and Medium, I write about women, ambition, the body, media, AI and self-measurement.

Alongside writing, I work across editorial design, visual communication and independent creative projects. I run Loved in Colour, a mixed-media pet portrait business, and Interior Weather, a small range of editorial planning tools.

Before King's, I was Deputy Head Student and editor of my school newspaper, and achieved A*A*A* in English Literature, Sociology and Fine Art. I also tutor English alongside university.

Welcome to my portfolio!

DICED a killer game

DICED film poster: a boy above a diagonal split, below it a red collage of faces, dice and a figure with a gun, release date 19 Nov.
Promotional poster
DICED DVD cover, front, spine and back: character portraits, dice, a red tie, quotes and a 12A rating.

I developed the thriller concept DICED and designed promotional poster artwork for the project. The campaign uses dice, layered character portraits, dramatic cropping and a dark crimson palette to suggest a high-stakes game and build suspense.

I explored how image, colour, typography and composition can establish genre and draw an audience into a film's story.
